Welcome to Sembrado en Nueva York, a Mexico City style restaurant focusing on Tacos al Carbon, from chef Danny Mena. We use all natural, hormone-free meats to create classic grilled tacos on hand-pressed corn tortillas. These types of tacos, called tacos al carbon, are a specialized style of grilled meats popular in Mexico City. We are proud to serve the classic--tacos al pastor. By using all natural duroc pork, we offer a quality that is unsurpassed; it both shines in its flavor and respects the animal through thoughtful breeding practices. Our dessert menu is conceptualized by Fany Gerson and offers a Mexican take on a classic dessert, The Hot Fudge Sundae. Our cocktail program is focused on agave-based spirits, representing the best of small Mexican artisanal distillers.
